About

The origins of the flag aren’t well documented, but it is highly likely that it originates from the same designer as the androsexual flag. The top stripe is blue rather than pink on the androsexual flag, whereas the green stripe at the bottom is inverted, turning it from green to purple.

Gynesexuality may be associated with nonbinary identities – both in the attracted and the attraction – which is why the flag’s designer incorporated the bottom stripe (both the green and purple from the andro and gynesexual flags feature on the genderqueer pride flag).
