lesbiromantic

in the split attraction model, a woman who is solely or primarily romantically attracted to other women.

lesbiromantic is a term primarily found when using the split attraction model, in which an individual may distinguish their sexual and romantic attractions, in which case, lesbiromantic may be used by a woman is primarily or solely romantically attracted to other women.

One such example may be a woman who is bisexual in terms of sexual attraction, but a lesbian in terms of romantic attraction; another example may be an asexual woman that is primarily or romantically attracted to other women.

However, an asexual individual that is romantically attracted exclusively or primarily to other women may also describe themselves as an asexual lesbian.

The usage of lesbian to describe women that are sexually attracted to multiple genders (e.g. bisexual), but only romantically attracted to women can sometimes be controversial, given many lesbians may stipulate that one cannot be simultaneously lesbian and bisexual. However, there has also been support for bisexual lesbians, as lesbian may also been seen by some as an all-encompassing identity for any sapphic woman.

An alternative to lesbiromantic within the split attraction model may be homoromantic.
