Aromantic is an identity within the asexual umbrella.
It describes an individual who experiences little or no romantic attraction. An aromantic person, may, or may not also be asexual. An individual who is both aromantic and asexual is often known as aroace. Otherwise, aromantic people who experience sexual attraction may also identify with a sexual identity, such as being aromantic bisexual, aromantic lesbian, etc.
Aromantic is also an umbrella term for the wide array of identities that fall under the aromantic umbrella: such as demiromantic, lithromantic, frayromantic, greyromantic and others.
